Welcome to hqwindscreens. By accessing our website or using our windscreen repair and replacement services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Services Provided
hqwindscreens provides mobile automotive glass repair and replacement services. We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel appointments at our discretion, including cases where weather conditions make a safe, high-quality repair impossible.
2. Bookings and Cancellations
Appointments: All bookings are subject to technician availability.
Cancellations: We request at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide notice may result in a call-out fee.
Accuracy: You are responsible for providing the correct vehicle make, model, and glass requirements at the time of booking.
3. Pricing and Payment
Quotes: All quotes provided are based on the information you provide and are subject to change upon physical inspection of the vehicle.
Payment: Payment is due upon completion of the service unless prior credit arrangements have been made. We accept Cash, Eftpos, Bank Transfer.
Insurance: If your service is covered by insurance, you are responsible for paying any applicable excess at the time of service.
4. Warranty and Liability
Workmanship: We provide a warranty on our workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle. This covers leaks or manufacturing defects in the glass provided.
Pre-existing Damage: hqwindscreens is not responsible for any pre-existing damage to the vehicle, including rust in the pinchweld or mechanical failures unrelated to the glass installation.
Repair Risks: During a stone chip repair, there is a small risk that the crack may spread due to the pressure required for the repair. hqwindscreens is not liable if the glass cracks further during a standard repair attempt.
5. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure a successful service, customers must:
Provide a safe, flat area for our technicians to work.
Ensure the vehicle is accessible at the scheduled time.
Disclose any previous repairs or non-standard modifications to the vehicle’s glass or ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, hqwindscreens shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use of our services or website.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand, including the Consumer Guarantees Act.
